I'm a technology geek through and through. I love getting my hands dirty, learning new technologies, and teaching others in the process.
Oh, and wearing Hawaiian shirts on Fridays of course...
We're a Jeep family. My brother (left) and I happened to show up to my parent's house after work wearing very similar outfits one day...
I like wearing many different hats on the job. At GT, I am the point of contact for our Maintenance department when equipment goes down, I am one of the lead Systems Control Engineers that program our Allen-Bradley PLCs in both Logix500 and Studio 5000, and I do Red Lion HMI design in their Crimson software.
I'm also very comfortable with Python and am gaining exposure to web development languages like HTML and JavaScript, which you can check out more of at some of my Project sites.
Used JavaScript to build upon this open-source game for one of our NFT projects we put together. Connected to an AWS API and kept high scores, winner lists, etc.
I'm learning about Microsoft Azure and am leading a project within GT to pursue our Digital Transformation initiative, and I'm also using some of the Azure resources for my own personal learnings as well.
I'm also testing out frameworks like Flutter to build a mobile app. My friend and I are building TableTalk, a compilation of thought-provoking questions that she has compiled over our time at Pitt. It's a fun technical challenge and helps scratch our creative itch.

Unfortunately, this startup attempt failed, but it was an incredibly valuable experience. I never would have thought I'd be leading a small team on Marketing and Graphic Design... It taught me that a great team really can get anything done.
